Live chess

The game with live chess-men at town square will be played by chess grandmasters, they will play with their eyes covered - blindfold game. Every move will beundefined performed by live chess-men. By taking piece will be sword fight. The performance's objective is to organize amazing chess event in Banska Stiavnica promoting a unique tradition of living chessmen game, which will be played by chess grandmasters with covered eyes (blindfold). This is, what makes the event unique in the whole world (live chess + grandmasters + blindfold). Traditional star of this event is grandmaster Sergei Movsesian. He played in Banska Stiavnica every year form 2005 (excepting 2011). Live chess match begins 13th July 2019 at 9:00 pm (town square). Program change possible (weather).
